With copy (see below) of relevant extract from Volume I of the 'Medical Officers in the British Army 1660-1960'. Robert Walker Clifton was born in Tilton, Leicestershire on 18th may 1836 and died West Kensington on 16th August 1911. Served as a Army Surgeon from 1857 to 1888 with the Royal Artillery and the 33rd  Foot. The China Medal is his only entitlement. SOLD
