1914-15 Star (unnamed), British War & Victory Medals ( 18613 Cp. J.H. Greenup, E. Lan. R) with Bronze Memorial Plaque (Joseph Harrison Greenup) EF with original ribbons. 

Joseph Harrison Greenup was born in Wigton, Cumberland and enlisted into the East Lancashire Regt at the age of 18 at Clitheroe. Cpl Greenup was killed in action on the 1st July 1916 being the first day of the Battle of the Somme. He has no known grave and is recorded on the Thiepval Memorial. His parents resided at  7, Abbey Terrace, Barrow, Lancs.
